TU B’SHVAT AT ALEH NEGEV-NAHALAT ERAN

Residents of ALEH Negev-Nahalat Eran Rehabilitative Village enjoyed a variety of special activities for Tu B’Shvat, the New Year of the trees.

Residents planted seedlings in the gardens of the houses, picked citrus fruits from the village’s trees and made juice from them, prepared their preferred shakes, crushed herbs and made tea from them, and helped to arrange flowers.

The residents, staff and volunteers all enjoyed celebrating the holiday together, with the special, non-routine activities.

We are grateful to KKL for donating the seedlings, and to the volunteers from the Nature and Parks Authority, who contributed significantly to the success of the activities.
