The Kadoorie Charitable Foundation is a Hong-Kong based trust, with the mandate of helping people help themselves. The foundation generously funded an upgrade of equipment for ALEH Negev-Nahalat Eran’s fitness room. The room, part of the village’s hydrotherapy center, is used for rehabilitation of both residents and outpatients, who now benefit from state-of-the art equipment.
Aroma Israel is a dedicated supporter of ALEH Negev-Nahalat Eran’s residents, their families and staff, sponsoring the village’s ongoing newsletters and enhancing our efforts to create a warm, family-oriented atmosphere in every aspect of our residents’ lives.
The Jerusalem Foundation supports the children of ALEH’s Jerusalem Center, providing them with an enhanced therapeutic environment and educational programs. With the participation of the Bluston Foundation, we established a new educational wing and young adult vocational unit. Most recently, the Jerusalem Foundation assisted in fundraising for a beautiful outdoor terrace porch for the schoolchildren.
The Bluston Charitable Settlement has partnered with ALEH in supporting educational and vocational therapy programming for children and young adults with severe disabilities. These programs give them creative and challenging opportunities to realize their potentials and live fulfilling lives.
The Eilat Ashkelon Pipeline Co. Ltd. (EAPC) donated a generous grant to the ALEH Negev-Nahalat Eran Rehabilitation Village, in support of residents who come from Ashkelon and Eilat. As former EAPC Chairman Amos Yaron remarked at a ceremony held in their offices: “EAPC sees its activities on behalf of the community, and especially on behalf of the vulnerable and handicapped, as part of its obligation to society and humanity. This contribution is another expression of our partnership with the community around us.”
The Edmond J. Safra Philanthropic Foundation’s commitment to help vulnerable individuals reach their potential and live quality lives has led to its significant partnership with ALEH, on behalf of hundreds of children and young adults with severe disabilities in Israel. The establishment of ALEH Negev-Nahalat Eran is in large part due to the Edmond J. Safra Philanthropic Foundation, which co-financed the construction of the High-Dependency Wing and the Rehabilitation Center. The foundation’s vision and commitment has also led to its support in establishing ALEH Jerusalem’s pioneering Hospital Wing, and a major educational complex in the center of the country.
In a unique project benefitting children with special needs, EL AL initiated a campaign in October 2005 called “Small Change Makes a Big Difference.”
The families and children of the Family Philanthropy Venture Fund of Jewish Federation Orange County have helped establish an innovative Activity Wall in ALEH Negev’s Special Education School. They have also helped sponsor ALEH Negev’s Safari Therapy Program, providing hundreds of children with exciting opportunities for stimulation, communication, and positive developmental experiences.
Since 2009, the Symphasis Foundation has enabled hydrotherapy treatments for ALEH Jerusalem residents and students.
The Symphasis Foundation also contributes equipment for ALEH Moriah assisted-living homes, ensuring an aesthetic, comfortable, family-like atmosphere which gives additional meaning to recreational time and increases residents’ quality of life.
Keren Hayesod (United Israel Appeal) was crucial in the establishment of the ALEH Negev –Nahalat Eran Rehabilitation Village, and particularly the pioneering Hospital Wing. In addition, Keren Hayesod is a big backer of ALEH Jerusalem’s current expansion campaign. Through their unwavering dedication, hundreds of Israeli children with severe disabilities will receive the specialized care they need.
Through its Blueprint Negev initiative, The Jewish National Fund is making a major impact by partnering with ALEH. Together, they are building ALEH Negev! JNF is lending its expertise in developing beautifully landscaped grounds, meticulously planned to stimulate the senses of the residents through the scents of herb and flower gardens.
The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust is a major partner in the establishment of ALEH Negev’s neuro-orthopedic rehabilitation hospital, supporting the construction of its occupational therapy department. The hospital will change the face of rehabilitative care in the Negev region, where currently there is no in-patient rehabilitative framework for people who have undergone accident, illness or terror attack. The occupational therapy department will provide a variety of treatments to our hospital patients.
Logic Industries has partnered with ALEH Negev of their on premises hydrotherapy pool. Founded and owned by Mr. Mati Kochavi, Logic Industries provides advanced public safety and security solutions for national resource systems. ALEH Negev reflects its abiding belief in the potential of every individual, no matter the severity of disability, and in society’s responsibility to help them realize their capabilities to the fullest.
Thanks to the generous support of ADAMA Agricultural Solutions (formerly known as the Makhteshim Agan Company), a new classroom was established in the ALEH Negev-Nahalat Eran Hospital Wing. With a kitchen, Gymboree, and special play corners for music, library, doctor and doll fun, the classroom will provide hours of enjoyable play-through-learning, enhancing the motor and cognitive development of children with the severest disabilities and complex medical conditions.
The generous support of the Marc Rich Foundation has enabled ALEH Negev to establish its High Dependency Hospital Wing, replete with two hospital units, a state-of-the-art medical facility and special education department.
Thanks to the partnership with the Massada, ALEH Negev has purchased specialized physiotherapy equipment that provides residents with state-of-the-art therapeutic care. The Trust’s recent contribution will support the planned expansion of the Vocational Workshop Program, where residents enjoy challenging and productive work while fulfilling therapy goals.
The Matanel Foundation is a major partner in the establishment of the High Dependency Hospital Wing at ALEH Jerusalem. Through their generous support, children with disabilities and complex medical conditions live in a medically safe environment that offers them everything they need. In addition, the Foundation is a significant backer of the comprehensive Renovations Project at the Jerusalem facility.
The establishment of the ALEH Negev-Nahalat Eran Rehabilitation Village was made possible largely due to the generous support of the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation. The innovative residential facility and assisted-living apartment complex are among the many projects funded by the Foundation.
The PPO Foundation in Switzerland has generously supported the purchase of vital specialized equipment for the residents of ALEH Negev-Nahalat Eran, including a life-saving airway clearance vest, supportive pillows, and a foldable ambulance hoist. Their contribution will enable the residents to enjoy an enhanced quality of life on a daily basis.
The Rashi Foundation is a leading partner in the establishment of ALEH Negev, managing and co-financing construction of the Hospital Project, the Paramedical Center and the Logistics Center and the establishment of the Rehabilitative Pool. Rashi’s support of ALEH Negev expresses the foundation’s mission to help disadvantaged individuals reach their potential and to strengthen Israel’s periphery.
The Slomo and Cindy Silvian Foundation is a generous supporter of professional training programs and the Therapeutic Safari Program at ALEH Negev. Through their partnership, residents and community children achieve motor and sensory goals while developing self-confidence and a positive self-image.
Israel’s largest bookstore chain, Steimatzky actively works on behalf of the community. To promote awareness and support for ALEH children, Steimatzky branches in Ben Gurion International Airport and Yad Vashem sell ALEH Boutique artwork and handicrafts created by ALEH residents in their vocational workshops.
Each year, the SuperSol food chain organizes a special collection week where profits are donated to the children of ALEH. During the campaign, customers in all SuperSol stores are offered the opportunity to purchase greeting cards designed by the children of ALEH.
The Wolfson Family Charitable Trust has assisted ALEH in the purchase of essential physiotherapy equipment and assistive devices, including specialized washing beds to ensure the residents’ dignity and comfort. Their support enables our residents to benefit from a wide range of opportunities for growth and development.
Jewish National Fund of Canada has supported several projects that enhance the lives of ALEH’s children on a daily basis, including a dental clinic for children with special needs, an outdoor terrace play area, and a beautifully renovated home for 12 residents. Their investment in ALEH’s infrastructure has enhanced the quality of therapies offered. The ALEH network of centers is very grateful for the friendship of JNF Canada and its various branches.
