Yehuda Marmorstein – Director General, ALEH Centers
Rabbi Yehuda Marmorstein founded and serves as Director General of ALEH. He has over 35 years’ experience as an administrator with various educational and health institutions, charitable funds and schools in Israel and abroad ranging from kindergarten through post-high school. In 1988, he was appointed Director of ALEH Bnei Brak, and in 1994, he established and became Director General of the entire ALEH network. During the years 1998-2013, he was a member of the Bnei Brak Municipal Council, where he was responsible for health and sanitation. He is also involved in researching medical and paramedical breakthroughs, and in promoting professional contacts with various educational and health institutions in Israel and abroad.
Rabbi Marmorstein has worked tirelessly, together with governmental and public institutions and the business community, to develop educational, health, welfare and rehabilitative services for individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities, and to advocate for their rights in national and local government. His steadfast devotion to providing people with disabilities with an optimal quality of life has also led him into the area of resource development, fundraising and strategic planning, with the purpose of developing social responsibility within foundations, organizations and the business sector.
Rabbi Marmorstein lives in Bnei Brak, is married and father of five, and also has grandchildren.
