Located on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, ALEH Bnei Brak is a warm and loving residential home to over 90 children with severe disabilities. It was founded on the belief that every individual is special; that each human being is equally deserving of love and respect, and deserves the opportunity to develop to full potential and enjoy a high quality of life.
One exciting event that takes place every year is the Annual Bnei Brak Purim Parade, which works to increase public awareness towards the disabled and encourage community integration.
ALEH Bnei Brak’s dedicated staff of teachers and caregivers spend weeks getting ready for the big day, as each group prepares costumes emphasizing an aspect of the parade’s theme.
The parade is organized down to the last detail, setting out from the ALEH buildings in Bnei Brak led by a volunteers and friends of ALEH holding banners, and followed by a lively orchestra playing familiar Purim songs.
The parade ends at the city’s Grand Hall, where staff, parents and Bnei Brak residents join the festivities, singing, dancing, and spreading joy!
This year’s parade will take place on Sunday, March 13th at 3:00 PM.
The parade’s theme this year will be popular brand names (Coca-Cola, Osem, Neviot etc…). Everyone is invited to attend this very special event.
