One of California’s newest attorneys has already made a key stride in aiding those in need. To celebrate 26-year-old Sam Yebri’s recent graduation from U.S.C. Law School and his passing the California bar exam, his parents Drs. Roya and Michael Yebri invited over 200 guests to a gala party in their Beverly Hills home. To share their joy even further, the Yebri family turned the festivities into a charity benefit that raised much-needed funds for ALEH.
“My family and I are actively involved in many Jewish and Israeli organizations,” Sam explained, “yet we’ve been personally touched and inspired by the important work of ALEH. The loving care and support they provide for thousands of special children make us proud to be Jewish.”
Sam, who earned his B.A. from Yale University, has established himself as a leader in local and national Jewish student forums. He began actively assisting ALEH following a 2005 interview he conducted for a Los Angeles Persian newspaper with ALEH Negev’s Chairman IDF Maj. Gen. Doron Almog.
“We were honored to be able to celebrate my milestone by rallying our friends and family to support ALEH,” the new attorney declared.
