Hasmonean Primary School in England Sends ALEH's Kids to the Golan!
May 19, 2011
At a ceremony attended by children and parents of Hasmonean Primary School in Hendon England, students and teachers were thanked for funds raised in their school Tzadakah project and presented with a certificate by Yoni Sherizen, Director of ALEH UK, and Yehuda Marmorstein, Director General of the ALEH Centers.
With great excitement the children handed over a check for 670 GBP! The funds will go towards a special end-of-year school trip to the Golan for 28 severely disabled children and their caregivers.
The fact that every single student at Hasmonean reached out to help the special children at ALEH is very meaningful. We thank them for opening their hearts and joining the ALEH family.
A special thank you to Hasmonean Headteacher (Principal) Mrs. Jenny Rodin, who personally visited ALEH Jerusalem this past December, for working on this campaign.
