Dr. Naomi Ferziger to head new Center for Research in ALEH Bnei Brak
Jan 5, 2012
Dr. Naomi Ferziger recently completed her doctorate at Bar Ilan University’s Gonda Multidisciplinary Brain Research Center. Her research investigated the influence of visual and cross-modal stimulation on children diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Cerebral Visual Impairment, and developed innovative visual assessment methods for this population.
Her research is founded upon her extensive 20-years of experience at ALEH as an occupational therapist and head of the OT department, working to help ALEH’s children grow and develop their abilities.
As director of ALEH Bnei Brak’s newly established Center for Research and Professional Development, Naomi will work to develop, document, and disseminate the results of programs initiated by ALEH’s professional staff.
“I am excited to be part of this initiative,” says Naomi. “It will enable ALEH to share its extensive professional experience with rehabilitation facilities worldwide that aim to address the needs and advance the potential of multiply challenged children.”
ALEH extends to Naomi its heartfelt wishes for success in her new position!
