We may be socially distanced, but we can still work together to make a real impact for the most vulnerable members of society!

I’m excited to inform you that I will be running a 5K from home to raise money for ALEH, Israel’s network of care for children, adolescents and adults with severe complex disabilities.  I’m ready to start training, but I need your help to reach my fundraising goal.

My personal fundraising goal is $100, and I will be working together with several other members of my 7th grade class at Ramaz to reach a combined goal of $1,000+, which will cover the costs of 10 weekly Respiratory Therapy sessions for ALEH residents with severe respiratory issues.  (Each additional $100 we raise will secure another therapy session for an ALEH child.)

I was very moved when I learned out about ALEH, which is a warm home, loving family and special education and rehabilitation lifeline for hundreds of Israel’s most vulnerable citizens.  Committed to finding the abilities within every disability, ALEH empowers its residents to advance well beyond their initial prognoses and live happy, dignified, and meaningful lives.

During this pandemic, ALEH’s immunocompromised residents with severe disabilities need us more than ever, and I want to help keep them safe, stimulated and smiling.  By raising funds for their weekly Respiratory Therapy sessions, we can help the ALEH residents (and their parents) breathe easier.

Thank you in advance for your support! Together, we can help provide the amazing ALEH residents with everything they need to not just survive but thrive.

I look forward to keeping you updated on our progress!
