Sleeping in Shelter
While the air raid sirens, Code Red alerts and rockets continue on a daily basis, residents and staff have moved inside protected spaces. Extra beds and mattresses have been brought into the sheltered rooms, and residents have been sleeping there every night.  In Residence # 9, one of the caregivers found a particularly creative way to make the room seem more like a social sleepover event – she brought a tent inside, in an effort to persuade her young charge to come inside the shelter.  As you can see, she was successful.
Arts and crafts and regular activities take place in a special corner of the protected room; nonetheless, it seems that our very special children are enjoying themselves just as much as usual.
